Why Amd 64 +3400 Processor keeps failing?

I run dedicated server and from time to time(like 3 times a day) it freezes. I can barely do anything, It says that CPU is 99% usage, after i shut down dedicated server which is not possible every time, it unfreezes, and it’s back to normal. Is it hardware failure or is there some way i can prevent this from happening? It’s cs 1.6 server with booster…

I have an AMD Athon 64 + 3400 on my HP PC and I have been using and abusing that processor for years and years non stop. I use it in my PC who has a RAID with 4 hard drives and im not lying to you I dont think I have shut down that computer in months and I use all kinds of programs that demand a lot from it and it’s working like a baby!

your problem could be software related but let me ask you. How good is your cooling system, fans, etc. because Im running a cooling system on my computer and thats what it keeps it running smooth, normally when your computer freezes is that your processor is hot and not receiving ventilation and air.
