Script streaming video?

I have AVI files in the directory on my linux dedicated server. It would be possible for me to see these files and the flow the server I use a kind of script available, instead of me having to download them on my server computer?

This is not something you can do with a simple script, unfortunately – The server must configure the appropriate software. It could be useful to ask your hosting company if they offer something similar. What I'm with Dreamhost, offer a service where to recode the video to Flash (as used on YouTube) and flow out.
