Can I be fired for not doing a good hostessing at Ruby Tuesday?

I really have done nothing wrong. I work in a restaurant and we really occupied with only 3 servers on the floor. Every Kind servers began to reproach me. I helped him drink and make decisions, cleaning tables. Also helped to go orders. I asked to my manager that cut so many servers, and then he said he was not to be so. Then, having done my job I left (except I understand that I forgot the carpet), I asked my manager if I could know when my next move is. He said call tomorrow and see what changes Work.it II only I'm worried that I'll call tomorrow and they will tell me that I am no longer needed because I did not do well tonight hostessing.
