What is the best Linux distribution of these elements?

Heard here that Ubuntu is probably the best for beginners, but Fedora is also easy to learn. Ubuntu a good distro, but especially for offices. If you want a software server I would go with Fedora, but the most recent base 3! RH9 is ok, but is also very old. See if Lycos has an updated list or get a server that is up to date!
